     At the age of thirteen, I experienced my first heart break, which caused me to slip into a place of great darkness. The culprit was the loss of my father. I can still remember that feeling of loneliness and wondering who's going to give me those amazing piggy back rides and inspirational talks of how I was the most beautiful, brightest and loving princess on the entire planet. I desperately needed someone to talk to because my mother had temporarily checked out. My neighbor observed my digression and intervened handing me a little black Bible. Inside she had underlined the passage which read, "fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand" (Isaiah 41:10 ESV). As the fog filled the arena, the bright lights instantaneously faded to dark. Fans were in an absolute frenzy, endlessly clapping and cheering as the team took the floor. Where Are Our Girls! Celebrities, families and people all over the globe are furious and demand answers to the question; Where are our girls? This week alone there are reports of more than a dozen African American and Latina girls in Washington D.C. missing. Many believe nothing is being done. Commander Chanel Dickerson, the new leader of The Youth and Family Services Division, assure that “we are not seeing an uptick in missing children in D.C.” In fact, Cmdr.
